Our Story Through Our Logo

The logo of the International Culture Lifelong Education Center reflects the journey of culture, learning, and community.

At the heart of our logo is the Mugunghwa (Rose of Sharon), Korea’s national flower. It represents Korean heritage, identity, and the deep cultural roots from which our organization began. Like the Mugunghwa that blooms with resilience and beauty, we hope to preserve and share the richness of Korean culture.

Beside it, the Growing Leaves symbolize growth, renewal, and lifelong learning. Education is not limited by age or background. We believe every individual continues to grow throughout life, and each new generation carries the potential to flourish.

The Flowing Waves represent the movement of culture across communities and generations. Like waves that travel without borders, knowledge, creativity, and cultural exchange connect people and bring understanding between diverse communities.

Finally, the Traditional Brush represents Korean Minhwa and artistic expression rooted in tradition. Art becomes a bridge—connecting history with the present, and tradition with future generations.

로고에 담긴 이야기

국제문화평생교육센터의 로고는 문화와 배움, 그리고 공동체를 향한 우리의 여정을 담고 있습니다.

로고의 중심에는 한국의 국화인 무궁화가 있습니다. 무궁화는 한국의 정체성과 문화유산, 그리고 우리 기관이 시작된 전통의 뿌리를 상징합니다. 끊임없이 피어나는 무궁화처럼 한국 문화의 아름다움과 가치를 오래도록 이어가고자 하는 마음을 담았습니다.

옆의 새싹은 성장과 새로운 시작, 그리고 평생학습을 의미합니다. 교육은 특정 나이나 세대에만 머무르지 않으며, 누구나 삶 속에서 계속 배우고 성장할 수 있다는 믿음을 담고 있습니다.

파도는 문화의 흐름과 연결을 상징합니다. 경계 없이 이어지는 물결처럼 문화와 지식, 창의성은 세대와 지역사회를 넘어 사람들을 연결하고 서로를 이해하게 만듭니다.

마지막 전통 붓은 한국 민화와 전통예술의 정신을 의미합니다. 예술은 과거와 현재, 그리고 미래를 이어주는 다리가 된다는 의미를 담고 있습니다.
